HAPPY THIRD BIRTHDAY, FALLOUT 76!

This Sunday, November 14, marks the third anniversary since many of us stepped foot outside the cozy confines of Vault 76 for the very first time. Now, more than 11 million of you have joined us in a combined effort to rebuild Appalachia, conquer the Scorched Plague, collect as much legendary loot as we could get our hands on, and so much more. In celebration of the community reaching this milestone, and because we love digging into some fun stats, we’d like to share a few numbers and bits of info about the community that we thought you might find interesting.

From the most popular items sold in player vending machines, to the deadliest enemies in the Wasteland, and beyond, here’s a look at some stats from the launch of Fallout 76 until now:

We’ve had a blast evolving Fallout 76 and playing alongside you all as we’ve introduced each new questline, feature, and quality-of-live improvement. Here’s to spending many more years together in the Wasteland.

Each day during the Gold Rush, Gold Press Machines at Foundation and The Crater will be restocked with a surplus of Gold Bullion. Gather up all of your Treasury Notes, along with any you earn from Public Events over the next few days, and trade them in to receive up to twice the usual daily amount of Gold. Then, grab your collection of Legendary Scrip and head to the Rusty Pick in the Ash Heap to try your luck at Purveyor Murmrgh’s shop. Speak with the Purveyor and select her Mystery Pick option to exchange your Scrip for a completely random 3-star legendary weapon or piece of armor.

Both the Gold Rush and Mystery Pick events are already underway. Make sure to cash in your Treasury Notes and Legendary Scrip before both they conclude at 12:00 p.m. ET (17:00 UTC) on Monday, November 15.

Until next time, we’ll see you in Appalachia.

And don’t worry, you’ll still be able to remove scrap from the Scrapbox whenever you’d like—even if you decide not to become a member. If you’re the type who likes to put your skills to the test then you’re in luck, because Double Mutation Daily Ops are returning! Starting a little later today, enemies in Daily Ops will begin sporting unique combinations of two Mutations, making them much deadlier than normal. If you are daring enough to take on these fearsome foes, you will also receive double the rolls on in-game currency rewards, and twice as many Legendary Cores, as well as double XP during your Daily Ops runs.

The excitement continues outside of Daily Ops with our latest Double XP weekend, which also begins today. Join a world in any game mode to level up like crazy by earning twice the usual experience from your exploits in Appalachia over the next few days.

Both events will last until November 8. Grab your gear and team up with a few friends to conquer some Double Mutation Daily Ops, and don’t forget to complete that repeatable “Gain XP” Challenge as often as you can to rank up and claim Scoreboard rewards more quickly over the next few days.

Until next time, we’ll see you in Appalachia.

SPOOKY EVENT UPDATES

76 Banner SpookyScorched Vampire Halloween2021 750x300

There’s an eerie feeling creeping over Appalachia as we draw near to the most haunting holiday of the year. Even the Spooky Scorched can feel it, and they’ve recently begun recruiting even more members into their ranks in anticipation of Halloween. Prepare to blast your way through lots more costumed Scorched, because we’re greatly increasing their spawn rate from 12:00 p.m. ET (16:00 UTC) on Saturday, October 30, until that same time on Monday, November 1. We hope you manage to fill up on plenty of sweet treats and grab some themed loot this Halloween weekend.

76 Banner SpookyCandyBowl Halloween2021 750x300

Last week, we had been hearing from the community that trick-or-treating Challenges to give out candy felt a bit difficult with everyone being so busy hunting Spooky Scorched and doing their own trick-or-treating. In case you missed it earlier this week, we’ve made a couple of changes to the trick-or-treating event based on your feedback. First, you now only need to give out one piece of Mystery Candy per day from your Spooky Candy Bowl in order to complete the Daily Challenge. In addition, we’ve decided to extend the entire Spooky Scorched event, including the trick-or-treating Challenges, by an extra week so that everyone has some more time to earn the Challenge rewards.

We hope you enjoy hunting down Spooky Scorched and trick-or-treating around Appalachia until 12:00 p.m. ET on November 9.
